About me...
I'm currently a postdoc at the University of California, Davis. I joined the Center for Mind and Brain in September 2024 to work with Dr. Amanda Guyer. Prior to coming to Davis, I was a graduate student at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in the developmental psychology Ph.D. program. At PSU, I was mentored by Dr. Suzy Scherf and Dr. Dawn Witherspoon. I attended undergrad the University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.S. degree in psychology and a minor in neuroscience. I also was a summer intern at the University of Virginia's School of Education in 2018. My research interests intersect around face recognition abilities, adolescent development, social health, contextual sciences, and neuroscience.
I'm a proud native of Prince George's County, Maryland. Growing up, I spent a lot of time playing basketball, which to this day is one of my favorite hobbies in both playing and watching. These days, I also enjoy playing volleyball, spike-ball, and other sports, as well as playing videogames, like Sid Meier's Civilization series. I also recently got into writing music, and had the opportunity to release two independent hip-hop albums in 2022 with a friend from college.Â
